About
Gas
In common with many business sectors today the domestic gas industry is becoming increasingly regulated and many organisations are finding it necessary to provide quality reports and records for their clients or for regulatory bodies without necessarily having the wherewithal to do so. Additionally, organisations have to decide whether to use in-house auditors {with their associated costs e.g. salary, cars, sickness, holidays, pensions etc.} to carry out quality control or to utilise external auditors who can provide a wholly independent and objective service. Many organisations lack staff with the necessary technical qualifications to enable them to undertake audits or interpret information provided, or staff are too busy with a multitude of other tasks to be able to dedicate the necessary time to auditing.
uality Gas Audit Services Ltd {
GAS} was established in 2000 to provide a complete, wholly independent and objective quality control programme to organisations in the domestic gas industry, such as local authorities, housing associations, manufacturers, and gas installation / service companies. The company uses a bespoke computer system to plan and schedule work and to generate detailed reports about service operative performance as a result of audit visits. Reports are accessed via secure, password protected member pages of the
GAS website.
The Directors and auditors of
GAS have extensive knowledge and experience of the gas industry both with British Gas and in the private sector, all are ACS certificated and CORGI registered. Based in Solihull the company has ready access to most areas of the country via the Midlands motorway network.
